If I change FSB settings mine completely turns off when I save and exit the bios and turns back on. Not sure if that's what you were asking but there ya go.

It Vapochill seems to handle the OC very well. There is only a 6C increase in temp under full load. I have not been able to find a way to get actual CPU temps because non of the standard tools such as coretemp or tat recognize the sub 0 temps. At full load my evap head never goes above -36C. Guess time will tell since I run it 24/7 full load for folding.

As far as the reboots and such. This is a HUGE... let me repeat HUGE... improvement over the P5B Deluxe. I never once had to pull the plug or clear the cmos due to a bad OC, no matter how crazy the settings I had. Just hitting the reset button got me back to the bios. Overall it was a much smoother OC experience. I realy like my P5B Deluxes, but this is now the board of choice for me going forward.

Yeah thats what I was wondering about. I hate how the 965 chipsets do a full power off then power on to reboot with settings. It tends to reek havoc with the phase systems unless you have a dedicated power supply for them. I guess its the same just better at not getting stuck with a oc setting like someof the other boards would do.

Thats good on the phase being able to handle it. Did you try speed fan with this board, thats what I usually use since it reads negative numbers.

Because I never did a full Power Off vs just a reset, the phase unit stayed running the entire time. I can see how it would be a lot easier on the phase not to have to power up and down due to having to pull the plug.

I admit I did not even try Speedfan. It reports number on my air cooled system that are 15C cooler than TAT or CoreTemp so I did not even load it on the phase system. Guess I could try that and see what it is showing.

Knite life, I have the same proc as you stepping L644G101 and the p5N32e-sli, which i beleive was a terrible choice, i have an OC up to 3.1 Ghz stable, but I know I can get more... think i should buy this board?
