quality earphones under £35 help?

Thread Starter
heey well have a zune and an ipod
im in need of two earphones for these mp3's and the limit im willing to spend is about £35 each, anyone recommend any decent earphones
i would like them to be able to isolate the noise so all i hear is the music
i wouldnt be using them in noisy area's such as trains so they dont have to be that good
i would also want the earphones to have bass to it bcos a lot of my music contains a lot of bass

thankss

Why not just get one pair of headphones and use with both. Look at AKG k81 dj, AKG K171 S, or Senn HD25's

well i got a pair of these for 50$ USD and they are pretty dam good if i do say so myself.. very good bass, and a good amount of noise cancellation.

http://cgi.ebay.com/New-Mini-In-Ear-...QQcmdZViewItem

they're only 5$ now, i got em for 50 back at christmas so you'll probably opt for something more expensive, just giving my input on these awesome headphones.

Sennheiser

There are a few headphones on here, while not exactly in ur budget, they are good, if you can find the PXC100's somewhere thats great, they were about 32-35 when i got em from harrod's so i am sure you can find a good better deal.

yeah sennhesiers are the way to go... here are a few that i think would be good for you. when looking for headphones make sure they say something about being closed or closed beck or noise cancelling or something like that
post #6 of 10
i have the Sennheisers, they do NOT block out noise very well which makes them all but useless to me

You could try the CrossRoads MylarOne X3 Earphones, it's what I'm getting. They're towards the bottom of the page. Price is roughly £29 with free international shipping.

you should choose your own earphones.
just follow a few basic rules when choosing a good set of ear phones
look at there HZ range, that is the range of sound they can produce, ranging from 15HZ (sub bass sound which we cant hear - 20 hz is already audible) to 24KHZ (24000hz which is higher then the audible 16000hz,but some people claim to be able to hear up to 24000hz tho)
and the way they are built, make sure the cable connection to the earphones is soldered in some way, because if they are just tied inside the headphone and go out without nothing they will brake really fast, and your looking for something realiable no?
inner earphones should produce from 30hz up to 20khz
big outer earphones can produce from 15hz up to 24khz,soo i would suggest to go with them + they deafen other noise's which the inner earphones dont do

Would you want in ear ones like these or like big ass headphones like these?

I reccomend the shure's if you want IEM...I don't reccomend the A500 just an example of the type of headphone.

EDIT: Just noticed you said £'s lol, I'm so used to recommending american stuff that I forgot they exist...

If you want IEM get the best shure/etymotic that you can afford.
If you want a headset thing then take soloz's suggestions

I'm loving these http://www.razerzone.com/index.php?m...products_id=34
They have excellent noise cancellation, i was sitting in class listening to music with them and watching everyone talk, and laughing because i couldn't hear a thing!

You can find em on eBay for around $25, or check the for sale section, Dark may or may not have sold his last pair.

Pretty good ear phones imo, although you might be wanting something better with your budget.
