XP SP2 Error! Help!

Thread Starter
Lately I've been getting BSODs for seemingly no apparent reason...I've run all sorts of tests, and yes, my overclock is stable, and has been for about a month. I think I have a memory issue.

The BSOD mainly occurs when I attempt to play Guild Wars, but I've gotten it on several other occasions, such as playing music or CS:S. The messages says "BAD_POOL_HEADER" and has the error codes listed below.

0x000000020
0x86F6F220
0x86F6F320
0x0A200001

Many thanks if you can help.

I've run memtest as well, and the Microsoft website doesn't display a solution to the problem. My system seems perfectly fine, aside from the fact that I get this BSOD.

Also, I played CS:S with you last night. xD

A pool header issue is a problem with Windows memory allocation. Device driver issues are probably the most common, but this can have diverse causes including bad sectors or other disk write issues, and problems with some routers. (By theory, RAM problems would be suspect for memory pool issues, but I haven’t been able to confirm this as a cause.)
