Any thoughts on this small budget upgrade?

If you check my sig or profile, you'll see my secondary rig which i assembled
to be a server for my home, but i've been the only one who really utilizes it
so I decided to take it away from being a server and make it a
secondary rig for doing business work, listen to music, browse the internet, and some occassional gaming on the side.

Here's what I'm thinking of purchasing. Let me know if everything looks
ok to you....

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E4300
MB: GIGABYTE GA-965P-S3
RAM: G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400)
Vid: Coming from my main rig which will soon have a 8800GTS, the video for this rig will be an eVGA Geforce 7900GT CO
HDD: already have, SATA hdd
Case: Alread have - Coolermaster Centurion 5
PSU: Xclio 500w PSU

As you can see, this is a very budget-like upgrade.

- AMD_RULES

p.s. No bs about my nickname and an Intel cpu, thank you

Replace the cpu with an e2160, not only do you save money but you get similiar performance to an e4300 and high oc potential.

Basically, it's based on the architecture of the c2d, just with half the l2 cache of an e4300. In bechmarks it only trails the e4300 by a few fps...usually around 2-9. An oc should take care of that.

Break out another $30 on that RAM and get the best DDR2 800 RAM by G.Skill! They can get 1100Mhz, so overclocking wouldn't be that hard with these guys.

If he ends up getting an e4300 or e2160, this ram won't have much of an advantage since both of those cpu's have a 9x multy, the only advantage would be lower timings.

Maybe he doesn't need to break that $30. It's up to him. I might want to get my hands on an E2160 just for fun now. Meh, watercooling comes first.
