What memory is compatible?

Ok my 2 x 512 Kingstons are causing instability and crashing. I was just wondering what my board is compatible with, I heard it can only take 512MB sticks and not 1 gig sticks, is this true? I also think it's only ddr compatible but not entirely sure. Any help would be a appreciated

Yes, your motherboard only supports DDR memory. However, it supports up to 4gb of it!!

Are you sure it is the memory causing the crashing? It's possible that the memory settings are incorrect in the BIOS.

Here is some more info about your mobo:

By the way, have you overclocked your system?

Yeah i'm 99 percent sure its the mem, I have a huge 20 page thread in the ATI section about why my comp keeps crashing and i've tried everything even formatting and reinstalling XP and didn't work. And it won't let me RAM scan in OCCT. Hmm someone told me I had to use 512 MB sticks..guess i'll just get a 1 gig stick . Thank you for the links also, will check them out. Rep+

EDIT: No overclocking that I know of has been done, unless the previous owner had done and not told me.
