Foam In Coolant

Thread Starter
I just re-assembled my watercooling setup. I now i am noticing foam in my lines. This is the 3rd or 4th time i reused the same coolant.. do you think that could be causing it?

If its a bay res put a thick phone book under the front of your case and take out the res plug and see if it will all come to the top...Then take a pic so I can see it... ...No if your sure it some kind of foam and not air drain it and rinse with distilled a few times and get some good coolant in it.....You might want to try that with a phone book first and see if it will all work out first air can seem real foamy with the additives in our coolant....

hmmm i had that problem before with the res, just leave it, the foam will go away and settle down in about a week.
Leave the res top open a bit, and like Ira said, raise it higher so all the little air bubbles from the foam gets out.
