You can install the drivers easily enough in any other version
sudo apt-get install nvidia-glx nvidia-settings
sudo nvidia-glx-config enable

Or something like that

Now that I have Feisty, I did the restricted drivers thing and warcraft III works like a charm. It's actually smoother than windows
