M2N SLI-Deluxe RAM Question

Thread Starter
hey, guys. kind of a generic question but if i were to sell 2 gigs of my ram to another buddy of mine, i'd have 2 gigs left but i'm not sure which slots to stick them in on the mobo. right now i think i'd place them (2 sticks) in slots a1 and b1 but, if memory serves, i believe on my old mobo (a8n sli-deluxe) the ram slots to be used for 2x 1gig sticks was a2 and b2 for dual channel so that has me kind of confused. i tried reading the asus manual but can't really understand it. should i stick the 2 sticks in a1 and b1 or go for a2 and b2 like for the a8n? does color leave any clues? the dimm slots i'd use would be the yellow ones, leaving the black ones empty. thanks for your time.

Put them in the yellow ones...a1 or a2. It probably would work both ways.
