Help on new working machine

Thread Starter
I am planning to build a second machine for backup but would like to give OC a try. My usage of this machine will be 45% of database and development tools (SQL/VS/Other), 15% of business application (MS office etc), 15% of web and 3D graphic, 15% of gaming and 10% of others. My goal is to get things done and use money wisely. So, I need some advice on this.

1.CPU. - E4300? OC to 3.2+
2.Motherboard - GigaByte or ASUS. Which one is better?
3.RAM. Corsair XMS2, G.Kill or Crucial?
4.HD. SATAII WD or Seagate ?
5.Video card: EVGA 7300GT or ?. Question on this, is it correct the better video card is for performance but not the huge factor for OC?
6.PSU and case. Do we have to get 500W based on items above? Do I need a case with feature to show CPU temp. in case of I OC the cpu?
7.CPU cooling. I believe the CPU retail box comes with a fan. Is it good enough for OC?

Thanks in advance.

For the CPU I'd get a E6300.
The motherboard get the ASUS P5N-E.
You probably want 2GB of Corsair XMS2.
For the HD you should defiantly get a WD.
You want to get at least a 8500 GT.
500W would be more than enough.
Yes the CPU come with cooling but I would upgrade to something more.
