Hey, I currectly have a 8800gtx running fine for months now. My old ATI 850 had vivo and my 88 dosent and there are a lot of things that i would like to record. is there any way i can still use my old ati card as a tuner and record shows or do i need to buy a tv tuner now?

Yea you can stick your old card back in too record shows...LOL. Just kidding.

My guess is that your gonna have to buy a tv tuner card. Too bad you can't stick the 850 in the other PciE slot but it doesn't work like that unfortunately.

To my knowledge, you can stick that x850 into the other PCI-E slot and use it as a tuner not a display card but you may get some drivers issues? Worth a try..

I read for my motherboard (which is crossfire enabled) that you can use an ati card and an nvidia card at the same time. I wouldn't add to game performance, buy you can run 4 monitors and use the vivo I believe.
