A new Build within my budget..please come look - Page 3

They're talking about the parts The HZ's are the G.Skill RAM you picked. You picked the DDR2 1000 version, but as stated (And as I told in PM), the DDR2 800 version is more than fine. As stated, it will overclock like mad, and there is no need for faster.

My picks (about $30 more before tax/shipping than hyou had in your original post):
  • XCLIO A380 Silver SECC 1.0mm thickness ATX Full Tower Computer Case $96.99
  • ASUS P5N32-E SLI LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 680i SLI ATX Intel Motherboard $209.99
  • EVGA 768-P2-N831-AR GeForce 8800GTX 768MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Video Card $559.99
  • SILVERSTONE OP650 ATX12V / EPS12V 650W Power Supply $139.99
  • Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Conroe 2.4GHz LGA 775 Processor Model BX80557E6600 $223.90
  • G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F2-6400PHU2-2GBHZ $109.99
  • 2X Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 (Perpendicular Recording) ST3250620AS 250GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive $139.98
  • LITE-ON 20X DVD±R DVD Burner With 12X DVD-RAM Write Black SATA Model LH-20A1S OEM BK $32.99
  • Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium DVD $219.99
  • ZALMAN CNPS 9700 NT 110mm 2 Ball Ultra Quiet CPU Cooler $69.99
Subtotal: $1,803.80

I included the retail version of Vista Home Premium. DO NOT get Vista Basic. The retail version will allow you to transfer the licence to a new machine (which includes replacing the motherboard). The OEM version will save about $100, but you will need a new licence when you get a new machine or motherboard.

aight i think thats the one.

they gave me an option to save some mony on a 700:1 22 inch asus moniter in a package deal with that mobo...they put that mobo and the moniters price together and deducted 20 dollars..i dont know if the mail in rebates and the instant rebates go with the 20 dollars off for the package...maybe ill call new egg. a 22 inch lcd be nice.
