evga 8800gts ocing issue

OK guys sso I got my evga in my specs and I am ocing it and everything right so I think my psu is giving me issues with it. The antec true power trio. I dont know for sure but this is what happens. I oc the graphics card and get it to say 650/900 (yeah the ram ocing isnt very good with my card) via rivatuner.

I then use atitool to scan for artifacts and there is none, it will go fora little while and temps top at 62c but eventually it will freeze the desktop or everything will slow to the point where itll take me about a minute to close atitool to get out of scanning. I also tried playing some games and eventually they would freeze or crash on me.

Now I thought I was getting to high on my oc but other things happened like when it is oced my stability on my cpu/system oc seems to degrade like Ill fail orthos at the same oc I could run for several hours (14+) within in minutes.

I also had a issue that I have scene once or twice where my entire rig seems to loose power like it will trip off momentarily like I flipped the power switch off.

Does this seem like a power supply getting pushed too far or is it possibly something else. My system is the one in my specs ive got 3 HDD's, about 4 120mm fans including the phase fans and a dvd drive running off of it.

Kind of at a loss, maybe the oc on the vid card is drawing too much power or something.

Also I ahve the latest drivers for the 8 series cards installed.

sounds like a psu problem, do you have another around that you can use?

Well I do but its a seasonic 700w but the problem is it dont work with my mobo (picky dfi) so I may have to get another one. The only others I have are some cheap 500w guys that I wouldnt trust plugging into my system.
