Rough case windows edges: How to fix?

These are the picturama's:

Well, I tried filing them down, but its a steel side panel and its tough.

Where can I get some tubing-ish stuff that would conceal the uglycutness.

(Those are both words)

Thanks

Jesus Christ what did you cut that with? A Pen Knife?

Ok get yourself a metal file or a angle grinder and get them edges as flat as possible.

Then get some low grit wet and dry and sand with the aid of a flat wood or metal sanding block.

For tubing i would suggest you go to your nearest hardware store and looking for some sort of rubber seal things.
Sorry i couldnt be more helpful with tubing but you will know by sight what is right.

You should be able to file that down, but it'll take you a LONG time.

I just had a thought though, if you have a jigsaw, maybe you could jerry-rig a smaller metal file into the jigsaw-blade-slot-thingy?

I started cutting into my Lian Li side panel tonight. . . the aluminum is a lot weaker than the steel on my Armor was. It's not like cutting paper, but there aren't any sparks and everything just seem to go a lot smoother.
