I think we're thinking the same thing! Although, I don't know if I'd be comfortable hacking up something that expensive LOL.

While I'm posting:

Small update of sorts. . .

I'm currently being completely lazy. I have been working on and off on the shroud and I've gotten as far as covering the front plate with tape for cutting.

I'm waiting on the fan controller to get here, then I'll get back to work on the front plate.
I need to pick up some dremel disks to finish my shroud work.
I also need batteries for my camera :-/

I'll have some updates this week though, no worries on that one

Yay! updates...!

...and yeah...

For the low, low price of about US$1,600.00 one could purchase This toolbox and mod it into a system with 48 optical drives, 20 RAID arrays, and enough juice to run a small city!

lol @ ginormous system!

Still following this thread. I know what you mean about being lazy. I've hardly done anything with my projects lately. I've been working so much that when I am off I just want to chill.

Oh, but I've been chillin' at home. . . watching several movies a day and sleeping I'm truly just lazy!

I'm doing some work today though. I plan on getting the shroud pieces cut to size before I go watch fireworks tonight

Yeah, sometimes it is nice (and even beneficial) to walk away for a week or so, it helps clear the mind.

Heh!... and occasionally it is during the hiatus that inspiration hits, or a solution to a problem presents itself.

Is it just me or does Syrillian strike you too as someone who sits atop a high mountain meditating.
