save 1.4k and get a better gaming book from dell... good job apple

MACs are for users that either 1) Have too much money or 2) people who dont know how to use a computer

P.S. I am not a M$ fan I'm a PC
probably. key word.

In case you didn't notice, my post was satire of you jackasses bickering back and forth about how apples and oranges are better than each other.

everyone should just **** and buy what they want/need and not argue about it...cause it DOESN'T matter!

Oh, and it's got DX10, btw...so no I don't think i'd take a 7 series over it for a NEW computer.

See, that's my point.
1) there aren't enough of these people in the world to make macs popular enough
2) there are way too many of these people in the world, but they rely on someone else to fix their computer. my parents are this way and depend on me to fix their computer. I don't know as much about macs as i do about PC's, so they stick to PC's knowing any problem they come across i will be able to fix.

We can add people that make money off macs, but that it's the same situation as #1.

Yes!
Get them a Mac anyways and say "I don't know anything about them...but if you have a problem, you can just restart it and it'll work"....*****. It's so true, too.

Find me one that is. Even on the Apple Site. Then again, I don't need to argue with you about it...

Every single arguement against Apple starts out with "overpriced" and it's tired.

I'm going to buy a new tv now.

And everyone would buy a Ferrari but every single argument against them is that they are overpriced....

I don't need to 'find' an overpriced mac because they are ALL over priced

but besides that point Macs don't have high-end hardware either so its not a good comparison to a Ferrari....

Yes!
Macs don't need fixing. They just work. Oh, that's right. That's what makes PC's soooo interesting to everyone on this board:
- challenge in keeping viruses and malware off your system,
- reinstalling the entire OS from scratch every couple of months,
- incompatible drivers and HW,
- LONNGNNGNGNGN Time between security updates and MS fixes,
- BSOD (coool).

PC users have a lot of time on their hands.

PS And don't bring the game thing back up again. It's as tiring as the, "Yeah, but Macs cost more." Guys/gals go get an XBox 360 for $400! It has better games and it's way faster than anything that can be home built. Oh, yeah I forgot. There's also something intriguing about stuffing water cooling in your PC to drive the clock speed to somewhere close to that of an XBox 360.

You have absolutely no knowledge f what you're talking about. If I was a mod, I'd ban you right now.

the xbox 360 has 3 cores running at 3.2Ghz and is not a random order processor (forget the name) so everything must be calculated in order...

How is it hard to hit 3.2Ghz? Especially on a core2duo?

I can build a computer that pwns 360 in like 10 minutes...

Hell, my computer looks better than 360 in most games...

You do what you want....I could care less, just quit preaching things you know nothing about.

If you bought MacOSX 10.0 then when 10.1, 10.2, 10.3 and then 10.4 came along there is another 129 out the door. Windows is cheaper, our updates are free.
macos 10.0 = $129
macos 10.1 = $129
macos 10.2 = $129
macos 10.3 = $129

Total = $529

Windows Vista Premium = $399.

So basically PC users pay for their OS Intherears!!! HA get it In-the-rears.

So for the last 5 years Apple users have been getting full blown updated OS's and PC users had to struggle with years of viruses and malware attacks, waiting for 2 to 3 years between service packs (apple distributes them on a monthly basis) -> priceless. And then they get the bloated and bug ridden Vista in 5 different flavors. Don't worry you PC boobs, those that got Windows Premium with their system prior to Christmas can get 60% off Windows Vista Premium at 60% off = $239!!!!! Guys/gals go get a Mac and OSX. You'll save time and money over the long haul.

Love this comment from Microsucks website:

"Some product features are only available in certain editions of Windows Vista and may require advanced or additional hardware."

If you have a family and multiple computers:
MacOS X 5 user pack = $199

Windows Vista Premium + 2 additional users = $399 + 49.99 + 49.99 = $499!!!!

Nearly 150% more than a 5 Macs, and you only get 3 users!!!!! Oh, I forgot PC users are used to paying way more for their systems/OS combos than Mac users.
