Agh I'm not even going to start another mac vs. pc argument. Facts are facts, apple's hardware is overpriced.
That's the PC Fanboy mantra. Keeps them from going bonkers because their OS and systems suck! Viruses, malware, new OS's costing $hundreds of dollars in licensing fees and another $hundreds of dollars in system upgrades to make it run like molases!

Comeback: Well, Apple's cost more!

Dude.. In the 4 years that I had this computer I got NO viruses. And I visit all kinds of sites. And what is wrong with Windows? I mean seriously, it runs all my applications, games, it never crashes on me, never freezes, I never even got a BSOD.

Oh yea, it also has things called OPTIONS. You can do stuff such as CUSTOMIZE it.

Definitely not true.

And Leopard owns Vista. Please see Apple.com for walkthrough. I'll be happy when my Parallels 3.0 arrives so I don't ever have to actually BOOT into Windows again to play Counter-Strike or use FaceGen.

By the way, for the money? The Asus GS1 A1 (Correct model?) Is the best Laptop out right now. 1900. for 2.2ghz Core 2 Duo and a 1650 display. The Macbook's lowest entry only has 1440.

Boris, you never have any hardcore facts or proof for your dislike of Apple products. It's nothing more than straight-out bashing. One of these days, I'd like to see you provide everyone with REASONS as to why you dislike Apple, and valid ones.

Saying that the hardware's overpriced? Actually, it's not. A Radeon X1900 card is directly from ATI themselves. Please, see how much that costs retail.

Do you guys realize that the only reason that viruses aren't written for macs is because it's worthless to. The market share for macs is like 13%, if you wanted to write a virus to devistate as many comptuers as possible, would you target the 87% or 13%?

Easy question

I just don't see how it owns vista. What's so different about it? Visual style and the animations? Once again, I've never had any security problems with Windows, so I can't see what's so much better in Leopard?

And you can get all the features of leopard into Windows with some programs, but you can't get any features from Windows into leopard.

Heh, exactly. And I think the market share is around 5%, the rest is just ipods.

You, the hater of all that is Apple, should go to the website and take the Leopard tour.

FIRST LOOK or LOOK (can't remember what it's called) alone is worth the migration to Apple OS. Being able to preview files before you open them in such a seamless manner? That's priceless. As the average user's file-size increases, ingests more data, etc... having something like that to merely run through a file is more than useful.

Also, Vista is already a wanna-be OS X. If you've ever used FINDER, it's what Vista WANTS to have. Spotlight owns any search engine in Vista's Operating System. It's faster than Vista's search, it allows you more options. It's just all around better.

I'm not even talking about web security, either. I don't care about viruses and it's not a selling point for me. Accessibility, resource management, etc are.

You can install Windows on Intel Macs with Bootcamp, which is already out, but will be integrated into Leopard, so you can get features of Windows on macs
