C2D E4300 Cooler

Thread Starter
So, im running a e4300 at 3.0 ghz and its too hot, going tops 68c on load.

so i figured i might have installed the stock cooler not quite right or somethin, anyway, im not going over that for nothing.

so i decided to buy a new cooler to replace the stock one.

now, i live in Brazil, Rio de janeiro, and i dont have as much options as you folks over there. so i've listed some Coolers i can find round here in the money margins i can buy. i'd like you to choose which one is best. or at least which are obviously not good, and shorten my options so i can go there and decide, whatever, by the most beatuiful one.

oh, and my mobo is a Asus P5N-E SLI, so i guess thats useful for you guys to know. cant buy a cooler that wont fit.

thanks!

so i bought the zalman 9700LED, but my temps are still very bad, i think i must have applied the AS5 badly. and btw, am i supossed to fix the cooler before i put the mobo in the chassis or after?

first-timers, lol :~

btw, my chassis fans (there are only 2, front and back) operate at 1200 rpm, while the zalman operates at 2800 ( iguess). so, should i try going for 2400 rpm chassi fans? will that improve the air flow? and, what about adding a cooler on the side? there is none, right now.

anyways, temps dropped from 72C load to 63C. thats 9 degrees, not bad but i hope i can go further with your help
