EA's QA department is manned by monkeys. EA is quite capable of releasing the worst games ever.

They are going to ruin Crysis.

* Some but not all hardware is upgradeable with a Mac vs Pc
Windows is open and non-proprietary? I did not know that. You learn something everyday.

If I were these guys I would be afraid. Their whole world is crumbling. iPods everywhere. iTunes everywhere. Now Safari! Soon the PC will be the second fiddle in the PC world. Don't worry guys. Mac users will still understand, but still not accept, that you use an outdated system using MicroDuds OS.

You can upgrade HD's no problem. Sure most HW may not have drivers for OSX. Connect most USB devices, and no problems. What else do you want to upgrade????

Wait at least 3-5 years. When Mac gets about 20-30% of Marketshare they will release OSX for the PC platform. MS will be good as done by then, and OSX will then garner 85% of overall marketshare. PC users will finally have a stable and reliable OS after 25+ years.
