yeah i did already : ). Oh well. Sort of off topic: can i use any other household items (besides q-tips) to clean off thermal paste (i've heard coffee filters, but what kind)? I am using articlean.

I use alcohol with a lint free cloth to clean my paste. Then I would take a newspaper, ball it up and rub it on my heat sink and CPU to remove any see-able dust that I can not spot.

I've heard coffee filters works fine, but clueless of what kind like you.

I have both these HSFs and they are both great imo. I have recently swapped out the Tuniq for a 120 Extremes because the my Double Decker Quad mod needed the HSF to move air in a top to bottom direction compaired to front to back as you would in most cases. The Tuniq has a rectangular base. Because of this it can not be rotated 90 degrees without having having motherboard components getting in the way of the base. The 120 Extreme has a square base this fits perfectly over the socket in either orientation. See picture below.



I also like that you can strap 2 Fans to the 120 Extreme in a push pull configurations. You are limited to one fan inside the Tuniq. Some may say 2 fans is overkill but I find the improved air movement through the system helps with overall cooling.
