Standoffs being wierd

Hello all,

I was just re-building my comp with some new parts and while installing the mobo, I realized that not one of the bolts that came with my TT Armor will actually screw into the standoffs properly. I have never had a problem using the bolts with the little wings on them (very thin strip of medal that goes around the circumference of the bolt)...but I do this time. I used different nuts that came with it and it seems to work.

Will it damage anything. My guess is I highly doubt it and they probably don't want me to use the ones I was attempting to use. Just wanted to throw that out there to see what you all said (or to prove that even after building two comps, I am still a noob ).

Thanks all,

Elyaas

Ha-ha.

Yeah. I searched the forum before I even posted this and there were a few threads that were similar. When I post my build log, I'll take a close up shot of what I did. It doesn't really matter anyways, the metal on the metal on the mobo itself will stop it from short circuiting I thing...and every bolt I put in was snug and touching what it was supposed to, so.

Edit: figuring out the case cables now...fun fun. The good thing is I have done this before with a similar Mobo and this exact case, and I remember it being VERY easy. I didn't even bother with audio because I never use those jacks anyways, but I may go for it
