If i put icepacks on my gpu heatsink, will it fry it?

well probably becuase of condensation, so i wouldnt bother trying it, very risky if not siucidal. Dont do it!!!

If it's just touching the hs, why would it short? Theres no power going through the hs.

i was thinking of doing this the other day, but with bags of ice. then i thought that if that plastic melted i am screwed.

oh, and there's not power going through your heatsink but there sure is on your mobo and once that drop of water hits the mobo, hell could break loose.

Condensation+PC=bad, I would not try that unless you have a really old PC laying around that you can experiment with.
