I am confused with the Bus Speed......

Thread Starter
I have my E6600 oc to 3450mhz with msi p6n-sli-fi. In CPU-Z, it shows the bus speed as 383.3 mhz and FSB as 1533.3 mhz. however after i run a test of 3Dmark06, in the result page, it says my bus speed is 267 mhz and my score is lower lower than most similar system. Why is the reading of bus speed different in my CPU-Z and 3Dmark06? any way to fix it?

well, for 1 Intel FSB is quad-pumped. and 266/267 is stock FSB for the e6600, so it might just be reading stock, or the OC really is cuting out when you run the benchmark(doubt it tho). also "similar systems" are often not nearly as similar as you think. often times it'll be an SLI'd or crossfired sys and only show the chip that's on the card(s), and/or only report what the driver tells 'em. for instance... a x1950 regestering as a x1900 series. teh x1950 series is a slightly better performer so... also it doesnt usually compare GPU OCs AFAIK.
