I disagree on two counts. First the tower air coolers are designed to blow air in a straight line (typically to the back output fan of a case) and as such minimal air is circulated to the nb or the vrms around the cpu area.
Second, there is no north or southbridge fan included with the asus board. an optional one is included with the EVGA board.
Aftermarket cooling on the nb (at the least) is a necessity as the nb can get hotter than the cpu.
