Up the voltage a little bit more, it can handle it, but watch your temps. Unlink RAM, and higher also the MB cores.

Honestly, I think it's just the chip. I seem to have the same problem with my e6600, I can run 3.2 at 1.46v Stable, but 3.4 at 1.5 isn't? and 3.6 is just a nightmare to run without going as far as to 1.58 to keep it running. So, I think different chips require different volts.. Most people on here just get lucky, or perhaps we're just unlucky to have chips that suck up voltage like a fat twin-headed baby... or something...

weird.

My E6600 also requires 1.55v to run stable at 3.6Ghz. I'd recommend raiseing your NorthBridge vCore to 1.5v/1.55v, if you haven't done so already.

got it up to 3.5 at 1.55 vcore with my ram linked and synced, but it freezes at the windows screen if I go any higher. I don't know a lot about ram and overclocking the ram so can someone let me know if I should be unlinking the ram and putting in a new MHZ and different timings that would be great.

For my e6600, it takes close to 1.58 to get 3.6, and even that's not stable, it wants more juice. I keep it now at 3.2Ghz @ 1.4625v(bios) 1.44-1.45 in XP Much better for longevity, and temperatures. Still a 800mhz OC, with good temps.
