Game runs so crappy on my computer under DX10 I refuse to buy the game. =/

9.9FPS min on my computer at 1920x1200 and max is... well... stupid.

Its not just me either, do a quick google and there are alot of complaints.
Wow. I hope future DX10 games run better, especially Crysis.

It should because its coded from the start for DX10. I also heard that the devs said that crysis only uses about 1/4 of the power of DX10 because its going to take awhile for them to master DX10 and unleash its true power. Hmm...

Awesome. I'm so excited for Crysis. I've been waiting a long time, and now I finally got the hardware. Now I just need a (good) game.

Anyone have any ideas how I can get a screen shot of this game?

The major difference I noticed between dx9 and dx10 is that in dx10 there is a hella lot more grass and foliage. Also the textures on the cliffs and walls were a lot more vivid/detailed. The water looked alright, but nothing to brag about. I think I have all the details maxed out and I guess I was averaging around 25-30 FPS (couldn't tell exactly 'cuase FRAPS, read above). I'm guessing Crysis will be even more system intensive so I think it's safe to say that I won't be able to max that game out, but I will still buy it the second it comes out!

Use XFire. With the more recent version of Xfire, you can take screenshots directly to your XFire using Scroll Lock + S

I really spot no difference.

Perhaps screenshots don't do it justice, and maybe movies will.

I can see a difference, but honestly, if you were to look at them without knowing, I bet you couldn't say which is which. I don't think either one of them looks noticeably worse than the other in any respect.

EDIT: Found a patch for the US version, I haven't tried it yet though.
Fixes and changes:
- DirectX 10 benchmark added
- Alt+Tab issues
- added optimization fixes and adjustements
- shadows correction
- relief-mapping materials have been improved
- main window focus issue has been revised (if you are still
experiencing that problem try to switch tasks - press Alt+Tab)
- some of memory leakages have been eliminated
- some minor fixes and changes
PATCH LINK

I figured out why mine was crashing,

The latest drivers 158.45 for Company of heros don't work for Call of Juarez you have to use 158.24 and it runs good.

Some more screens

There’s a difference, it still looks pretty good in DX9, I think some people were expecting more from DX10, I've seen screen shots of other games where you can't see anything at least I can't and people say there’s a big difference anyhow at least here you can see one. I think as time goes on DX10 will only get better, DX9 sure did
