do i have to clear my CMOS after and before i flash my BIOS? if so what is the proper way of clearing CMOS? please note im not talking about resetting, im talking about clearing.

all u need to do is updare ur bios

well if you clear the cmos you are resetting it.

someone at DIY told me resetng and clearing is different... but anyways what is the correct way of clearing it? move jumper to clear and remove battery?

if you clear it then your puter wont start if u reset it u will put it back to factory default
