your question may of already been answered but. Try getting Security Task Manager, for future problems, its a great program and helps you find the bad processes.

Thanks for all the input guys.

There was no particular reason that I asked, I was merely trying to get as lean as possible (without going to the extreme). During my research of the running processes, I started to get info that claimed that some were malicious in nature. All is well that ends well.
