What lighting would you recommend?

Not to sure if this is where this thread should go but I don't know where else to put it. I want to light up the inside of my Xion II Case. I have green UV cables coming and I want blue light shinning down.

I originally wanted two 4" Cold Cathodes to go one at the bottom and one at the top of the case but there are other lighting on SVC I have never seen before.

I would prefer to actually blind people a good bit becuase I don't want them to see the horrible placement of the connectors on my motherboard (Tforce 965PT)

Which do you guys prefer to light up a case like I want.

-Cold cathodes (Single large or two smaller?)
-Meteor Lights
-Light Clusters
-Lazer Lights
-Lazer Cannons

All of those look crazy but the Lazer Light and Lazer Cannons look very intriguing...anyone have experience with either? The Lazer Lights look incredibly bright but also very cool looking as well.

How much light is being produced? I don't really want 4 tubes that big. Can someone tell me how the Laser Cannons work? Is it like a flashlight?

It's just a laser beam basically.

Cathodes are like regular lights, sort of. They produce a large amount of light compared to LEDs and such though.

Your UV cables won't be much good if you are using enough regular light to blind people, they'll be completely washed out. CCFL's are best at providing broad area light and look best when the light itself is hidden. The laser/focused led types are best for highlighting specific areas but will also give light to other things

Another thing you can do if you want light throughout your case but also to use UV items, put a single blue (or whatever color) CCFL in the top of your case and two or three UV's on the sides and bottom of the case. This will give you a blue ambient light but your UV items will still stand out, just not as much as if there was no regular light
