Hi all, i have a choice between the following builds
i need to know which one to go for and why
i want to overclock, not hit any limits
looking at 3.2GHz and also a CPU with 4mb l2 cache

the systems i am thinking of are as follows:

System1:
XFX Geforce 8600GT XXX edition
Kingston ValueRam 1024mb ddr2-667, CL5 , 1.8v
ASUS P5B
Intel Core2 Duo E6420 / E6600

System2:
XFX Geforce 8600GT XXX edition
Kingston ValueRam 1024mb ddr2-667, CL5 , 1.8v
ASUS P5B-Delux
Intel Core2 Duo E4320 / E6420

System 2 will be slightly more pricey, but will it hit 3.2GHz easy?
with System 2, which processor will overclock better E4320 or E6420?

thanks

gonna be making it hard for yourself with value 667mhz ram.

to get any of those specs working at 3.2GHz will need you to buy the E6600 (which is the most powerful CPU out of all the ones you specify) and you'll need to run it at 355 FSB x9 (the 6600 is x9 multiplier). that'll mean your ram will be 710MHz which is might not be too happy about if its only 667 value stuff.

what about this memory?
Kingston Hyper-X 1024mb ddr2-750, CL4 , 4-4-4-12 , 1.9v, with heatsink

besides the memory limitation, which system will you vote for?

will the kingston hyper-x memory not overclock well?
looking at getting the 6420 to 3.2GHz on minimum voltage
400x8
will the memory be good enough?
