F@H error - could not connect to work server

Thread Starter
This started on Monday. Anyone experiencing this now, or in the past, who can help? The only change to my system was the installation of STALKER on Sunday. This is from the log:

+ Attempting to send results
[08:19:27] Couldn't send HTTP request to server (wininet)
[08:19:27] + Could not connect to Work Server (results)
[08:19:27] (171.65.103.100:8080)
[08:19:27] Could not transmit unit 02 to Collection server; keeping in queue.

Thanks.

If your using the -advmethods flag remove it. & check if your firewall is open.

The -advmethods should only affect the types of WUs you are getting. Not the ability to upload the results. As SZayat said, was there any change to your firewall?

If you put the address into your web browers address bar, do you get a message?

http://171.65.103.100:8080/ should give you a message that says OK. If not you are having a problem seeing the server. I tried that and I got the OK message, so the server is up. If you do get the OK message, then there is something else going on. Have you made any changes to the client setup? I know if WinSMP folding, if you set the "Use Internet Explorer Setting" flag to [YES], you will have this same problem.

No intentional change to firewall. I checked the settings to make sure nothing mysteriously changed. Settings look fine -- FAH is on the "allowed" list.

When you click this link http://171.65.103.100:8080/ do you get a message that says "OK"?

Sorry I missed this in your first post. I was at work and rushed my response. Yes, I do get OK when I click that link.

EDIT: F@H mysteriously started working again. Thanks for your help.

Thats great! If this does happen again, check the address in your browser to verify you get the OK response. Hopefully the problem does not return.

I am getting this too. The issue seems to be that a WU got "lost" somehow.
