High end gaming notebooks can have 1920 x 1200 res. Like a 24" Desktop LCD.

Sager notebooks all the way. I have one of the 19" with dual go 6800ultras in sli with 2 batteries and 2 hdd's in raid0. The thing weighs like 21 lbs. If you go to the website you will see that one of their newer gaming notebooks scores over 9000 in 3dmark. Incredible for a notebook.

Sucks for all those people that just bought the Macbook Pro!

When it comes to laptops, I'm all about portability to be honest. I've owned sevelar laptops since about 5 years ago, and have never really had a serious gaming session on one.
