Well the extra memory will only help for the high-res...you can get 2 8800GTS 320MB for the price of a single 8800GTX. The 8800GTS 320MB offers the most bang for buck out of any dx10 card...for 260$ you can't go wrong. It's up to you, the extra memory will only help in high res.

$800 budget.

Does that include the E6600 or is it just for the video-cards?

I recommend you get a single card. SLI is great and all, but it only pays off if you have two GTX's. One GTX has better performance/dollar than two GTS's, and one GTS 640 has better performance/dollar than two 320GTS's.

If you have $800 for video-cards only, I recommend a single GTX. Requires less power, easier to set up, less problems with driver compatibility and will play anything you throw at it with good settings. If you have $200-250 left ($800 budget for video-cards) then spend it on water cooling.

E6600's and 8800GTX's run REALLY hot and water does them a huge favor.

Those 2 8800's will play anything at highest settings and they are DX10, hell one 8800gtx alone will rock. Whats your budget? It depends, personally I'd recommend an 8800GTS if your not looking to spend much. Also, the Sapphire X1950XT are GREAT budget cards, for 180$ they kick ass in most bang for buck.
What is a P5B-Plus SLI?

would 2 8800gts 320 run faster than a 1 8800gts 640? Run faster than 1 8800GTX?

So if i understand this right, From fastest to slowest
1. 2 sli 8800gtx
2. 2 sli 8800 640 GTS
3. 1 8800gtx
4. 2 sli 8800gts 320
5. 1 8800gts 640
6. 1 8800gts 320

is that right? are any of them Equal?

The ram is important for video resolution right? cause the only diff i see between the 8800gts 640 and 8800gts 320 is the ram?

To me, SLI isn't all it's cracked up to be...but you can if you want : )

For the motherboard...DEFINATELY go with the 680i

Try this mobo - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813188015

And as for the vid card - just get 1 8800GTS 640
