This seems to be a nice deal.......but the Q6600 will be here soon to rain on this parade.

Nevertheless, 2.33ghz for $182? Nice.

Looks good, hopefully they will all be good ociers. I wonder when the q6 series that are the same as these will come out. I mean the q6600 is just 2 e6600 put together right. Same watts and everything as a dual e6600. Correct me if I am wrong.

You can't really compare the two. In fact, you can't; they are totally different from one another.

Just wondering how further this type of CPU can go in term of OC.
Don't most, if not all, C2D chips go way beyond 333MHz FSB already? These will actually come with lower multis so we'll need higher clocking chipsets to get really high OCs....

So much for people saying these won't overclock well at all. I'm gonna wait for some OC reviews on the E6750, and then decide between that or the E6600.

And the E6850 is so low because it is coming out in the same price range as the Q6600. So hopefully we'll see a price cut on the current C2D's as well as these new ones and the Q6600.

because the x6800 has an unlocked multi and the e6850 is really jsut an e6600 running @ 333FSB. so u could call my e6600 a e6850 if ya want

This makes no sense to me...
Why get a 3Ghz C2D 6850...
When you could get a much cheaper chip, at higher than that clock speed...
Just makes no sense to me, the whole 1066vs1333 and such.
