Thermalright XP-90 vs stock AMD Opteron 165 headsink
which one is better? i bought xp-90 for almost 2 yrs and never use (with tornado) so now i just bought a 165 and dont know which one is better. and i do have AS5 ^^ ,

i might have other fan to place the tornado, because its way too loud (heard from other people)

please tell me if you know it and to me the stock h eadsink from 165 looks pretty good ~ too lazy to test both lolz

I have the XP-90. Much quieter than stock with the right fan.

Actually, right now I've jerry-rigged a 120mm fan instead of 92mm instead to cool my ram chips

Is the Opteron 165 heatsink the same as the Opteron 185 heatsink? I have the 185 and the heatsink is aluminum with copper base and copper heat pipes. It is a good cooler. I thought about getting the Thermalright XP90-C but decided the difference would not likey be significant enough for me to justify spending the money.

With the 185 heatpipe heatsink my core temps are 4-5 degrees celcius above case temps.

If I already had the XP, I'd have to at least try it out, though.
