you should be able to take the 3-pin adaptors off the pigtails you purchased as adapters.

Cut the 3pin side about 2-3 inches from the 3pin itself, then cut the 2-pin connector off the delta.

Splice red/red and black/black. Viola!

The 2 to 3 pin converter didnt work because Delta's use that really narrow 2-pin plug.

Hmm, how should I put this.

OK, what you're going to do, is take the 3-pin side of the adapter you bought, and use it to replace the 2-pin connector connected to the Delta(s).

What you will need:

1. Wire cutter (or a knife)
2. Electrical tape at a minimum, soldering iron is best.

Step 1: Cut the 3-pin plug off of the adapter you bought from coolguys. Cut the wires about 3 inches away from the connector in question.

Step 2: Cut the 2-pin plug off of the Delta as close to the connector as you can.

Step 3: Take the red wire that is hanging off of the 3-pin plug and strip about 1/2 to 3/4's of an inch, to expose bare wire. REPEAT for black wire, and REPEAT for the wires coming off of the Delta.

Step 4: Splice (twist) the red wire from the Delta and the red wire from the 3-pin plug together tightly, tape with a 1 inch long piece of electrical tape.

Step 5: Splice the black wire from the Delta and the red wire from the 3-pin plug together tightly, tape with a 1 inch long piece of electrical tape.

Step 6: Test the Delta with its new 3-pin plug on the motherboard.

Should work no sweat, you just won't be able to monitor the fan speed.

Should be able to, with no problems.

Wish I had pics for you, if I were home, I'd rip apart some of my 3-plugs and Deltas to take pics (cause I have to do the EXACT same thing as I just described to you)

Pull the wires out of the 2-pin molex and find the red & black wires.

Then put them into a 3-pin molex like this:

Secure them in place with whatever you got and that's it.

Yeah I know, those are just old pics from something else. All you need to do is follow the 3 pin molex from the mobo or wherever the power's coming from and look at its wires. Once you see where the black and red ones are then on the new 3-pin fan molex just insert the red and black wires accordingly so they match up when you connect the 2 molexes together.
