If I'm right, you said you have 2 LAN ports on your MB... does this mean you have 2 available network connections in the My Network Connections settings?

If so, you can try bridging the 2 connections to see if that works.

Yeah me and John had this problem and we had a lot of trouble with it.. but we finally found the help on a website. I'll see if i can find it for you.

Yes indeed, I also tried to bridge those 2 but windows sais I need 2 connections that are NOT available for internet sharing or somethin like that Now I'm confused. so sharing is on...and I can't get it of for bridging lol. Stupid problem. But thanx for the link...

I have to go to school now, when I get back I'll see if that helps.
