quick question, anyone know how well a 5/8" OD tube will fit into a 1/2" ct joint?
or if it would fit at all?

Is it one of those put the tube on then screw the deal down the tube to hold it?

If so I think so.

I do know that 3/4 O.D. wont work but the 5/8 might squeeze by and is probrobly what they were made for...

Hope this helps if not I treid....

a CT joint is a push fitting, it looks like this (sorry kinda bad pic)

essentially the hose is just pushed into the fitting and secured

I would think if they are for that ID tubing that they would work fine with the 5/8od just don't try to cram a 3/4 od into one

Go to home depot and buy a dollar fitting and try it first....

I believe that barbs would be less restictive

yeah i know that barbs are less restrictive, the reason i ask is because i ordered a bunch of new WC to replace my old stuff, but i need to wait for a bit in order to get my new NB block, so until then i was just gonna use and old one (with ct joints) and i dont want to go buy barbs for something im only gonna use for a week maybe 2. the tubing those fittings used was a 1/2" OD tubing, and the new tubing is the 5/8" OD so it is a bit of a squeeze down..
