Internet connection: Please help - Page 2

Well with CCleaner, I know that it wouldn't delete a necessary file for your wireless internet because i have it installed on my computer and both my roommates computers and we use it at least once a week with no issues to our wireless network/internet connectivity.

I have a similar problem:
When I turn on my router in the morning, my PS3 connects easily for a day of folding.
After me and my brother have connected our laptops, the PS3 usually won't reconnect unless we restart the router.
My laptop never has any problem connecting though.

My guess would be the router, but I really haven't looked into it deep enough to diagnose the problem.

That said, my PS3 could just be playing up.

Alright, I have a Linksys to but i am at work and not home so i am winging it from memory. When you enter the setup for your router via a web browser, you should see several tabs that list various things. Click through any tab that sounds like it might have to do with your internet connection or internet in general until you see one with a MAC address in it. Mine has its own tab dedicated to it and I can get more specific when i get home to walk you through it. On that page though there should be a button that says clone my MAC address with a MAC address bar. If that address bar is all 0's, then that is your problem. when you clone your mac address, it should consist of letters and numbers specific to your pc. After you clone it, if there is a check box for saving that info then hit, but on mine it just says save changes and retsart. Once you complete that, it should work fine. I should be home in about 2-3 hours so I will check mine when i get home and walk you through it if we don't figure it out before i leave today.
