I just ordered it. Can't wait for that beast to get here. It will be replacing my X1800XT and hopefully blowing it away.

It's not that. It's the 6pin psu cable + 8pin psu cable that is needed to power the monster !_!

unless 2 6pin cables are just as capable as 6+8

I've been reading that you can use 2 6-pin cables to power. I probably won't overclock until absolutely needed.

You can use two 6 pin cables but OCing will be limited.

Oh and I wouldn't trust that RaidMax PSU as far as I can toss it. RaidMax PSUs are very cheap.
