Acceptable heat for MSI 8800 GTS 640 MB?

I'm running ATI Tool right now, and i'm just wondering, what's an acceptable heat for just stock cooling on this thing etc....

I have a feeling 87C is a tad high.

It's a bit hot yet, but nothing to panic about. These cards can deal with heat. However, mine tops at around 80C, and that's at 690core/2240mem... with stock cooling.

Check your case air flow... it should be about 10C cooler under normal circumstances.

78C Idle

That's what I do at full load, at much higher clocks...

This is my ATITOOL artifact scan for 10 minutes (676/2240 - the 690 setting doesn't pass 10 minutes, but does pass 3DMark06 without visible artifacts):

What is your ambient temperature.

And what is your fan set up in your case? (I have the basic classic 120mm in / 120mm out... that's it)

Gah...ambient temperature atm would be around ...30-33 C. Fan set up on the case. 120 in the front, 90 on top, 90 power supply, 120 on the back, and two airflow tubes on the side panel. (However if I recall correctly I don't have the power supply 90 hooked up because of lack of plugins o.O) Mind you, all the fans are the stock fans on the thermaltake armor extreme

So basically, from the armor extreme site, its this:

Front (intake)
120 x 120 x25 mm fan, 1300rpm, 17dBA,
Rear (exhaust)
120 x 120 x25 mm fan, 1300rpm 17dBA, 90 x 90 x 25mm, 1800rpm, 19dBA
Top (exhaust)
90 x 90 x 25mm, 1800rpm, 19dBA

Take off side panels? put a normal fan pointing towards your rig?
