E6400 @ P5LD2-VM mobo question

Thread Starter
Hi all,
Just wondering if I could get those two parts to overclock at around the 3ghz mark. They are the Intel E6400 cpu and the Asus P5LD2-VM motherboard. Should I even bother to try an overclock, or just buy a different motherboard?

thanks

Whats your budget for a board? I'll find you a good one to O.C. on.

Anyway, this board is just a few dollars more and is known to O.C. extremely well. Also, a lot of people own it on here so you will be able to get any help you need.
