I was going to ask how your OC is going. So far looks better then mine Post 3dmark06 score!!
I still have Lots to do. I basically just learnt how to OC in/from this thread
Post 3dmark06 score!!

Yeah, the weather is getting warmer.
But I want to go Higher on the OC!!! Wish I had 3.6 to back down from

Lol yah I get that a lot here with all the Electricity hungry electronics in the room
That Pi time sounds right for 3.2ghz, which is a really good time. I think i had my Opteron at 2.4ghz and it ran 30 seconds or more.

My 3dmark06 score will suck and be pointless to you because i have a 7600gt while you have an 8800gtx, but i am going to download it and run it and let you know anyway. Ill be getting an 8800gts in the near future.

Hows it going now?

Im at 3.5 and finished. 3.6 is a lost cause. seems like a wall, or hard to get around and i would need better cooling.

Wow that's awesome! Really nice OC

As for me on the other hand. I think I'm in over my head
OK I can OC the FSB fine but when it comes to the Ram... I don't know what it is I just can't do it

Well I may have screwed my mobo for good. I hope not but it's acting up

I don't know what it is. I mean I lowered my overall clock when I froze on Windows start up, Saved and rebooted and get a dud

And I keep getting this annoying popping coming from my speakings startings on windows load up.

Actually im back to 3.4ghz. 3.5 failed orthos right at 5 hours. I didnt want to crank the voltage up more so i dropped the voltage to 1.5 (was 1.525 or 1.5375) and dropped it to 3.4. Was Orthos stable for 6.5 hours then i quit it.

As far as not booting. Just look in your manual for the Jumper. Do what it says and it should reset everything and boot fine with default settings. All you do is move this little piece from pins 1 and 2, to 2 and 3 for 15 seconds, then move it back.

I didnt mess with ram at all until i tried 3.6ghz. Up to 3.5 i just had everything on auto and ram was set to sync. Thats how i have it now.
