Good question. I always run stock.

Just to state I have Finally cracked 20K.

And at 3600 I can get 19K easy...

By Comparison a single 8800GT at 3600 gets 13K

Sorry guys I have been absent for a while and I think I need your help.
I'm planning to overclock my HD 2900XT to crush those who owns a HD 3870. Is this cooler good?

And what kind of 92mm fan should I get for the HR-03/R600 to get maximum overclockable speed head to head with R670XT.

And has anyone used the HR-03/R600? Sorry I forgot which page number on this topic.

well i know most GTX owners who have the HR-03 Plus (GTX version) are getting really good results so i'd say yeah its probably one of if not the best GPU Air cooler.

as for the 92mm fan, i dont think it would matter too much, would probably be a good idea to get one that comes with a manual speed controller. otherwise generally you should just buy the most expensive one, or one that supports the highest RPM.

LC cooling cost too much is way out of my budget unless I'm a professional benchmarker or gamer.

Thanks gtarmanrob,
Will this cooler be good?

yeah mate that one looks pretty good. its exactly what you'd want. i'd trust most things from ThermalTake as well.

just make sure that HR-03 doesnt require a 92mm exactly to be able to function. im pretty sure its just tied on my some clips or cable ties so you should be fine. but just make sure.

otherwise, i'd say you're good to go man.

Consider it done, thanks man, looks like this forum is pretty expert on overclocking stuff that's why I need the right advice.
That's a reason they call overclock.net right?

Opps forgot, rep + for you gtarmanrob.
