4650ish in 3DMark06, with the Sempron and the e4300. Trying speedfan out now...see how that works

yeah c'mon dude, i was joking. I'm just saying if theres no score improvment from a SEMPRON, a SEMPRON, somethings definately up. Although your 3dmark06 score is pretty good anyway.

Semprons aren't bad! They're just A64's with half the cache, unlike the Celeron which is severely handicapped on their cache.

I feel a little better now that I've tried speedfan, now it's around 53-54 C load there. So should I be trusting SpeedFan then? Also, when I boot into my BIOS the hardware monitor there shows 40-42 C at boot, so I'm hoping SpeedFan is the one to trust in this situation...also, the 53-54 C load in SpeedFan is at 2250MHz.

and to gonx, my Sempron only had 1/4 the cache of most Athlon 64's I think, it had a whopping 128kb, now me gots 2MB!

Yeah I know, but come on, this is a Core2Duo, which whoop AthlonX2, which in turn are alot better than semprons.

luckily load seems to stay the same when overclocking at stock voltages, going up some more now...also, no increase in 3DMark06, but I can now play CoH at 1280x1024, AA enabled, everything at High without dropping below 20 FPS. My Sempron couldn't give me very playable FPS at any settings.

sitting at 2611MHz now with stock voltage as that is all my motherboard can do voltage wise. Stable so far...loads still 53-55 C.
