Anyone running 2x2GB RAM on ASUS P5N32-E SLI mobo?

Anyone successfully running 2x2GB sticks of RAM on an ASUS P5N32-E SLI?

When I buy the motherboard, I'm hoping I can buy 2 sticks of RAM to take me all the way up to 4GB. That way, if I want to upgrade to 8GB in the future, I won't have to throw away whatever RAM I have.

id hold off on that if i were you, i just got my p5n32-e mobo and i got g.skill 2x2gb ram but nothing will display on my screen when turn it on, i cant even enter the bios, i ruled out it being a video card problem so it might be the ram.. although i hope not -.-

edit: some 2x2gb works, patriot seems to work but just do some research, i have to buy some cheap ddr2 ram to get it to post then i can change it so i can run my 2x2gb g.skill

Yeah, I know there's some issues with the voltages being set too low by default. Once it's been upped to 2.1v, does the 2x2GB of G.Skill work properly?

It will work fine, It's just the Bios default that causes problems with memory that requires 2.0v+. Stick in an older DDR2 Dimm alter voltage and your set.

ok thats what i dont get, if you put in ram w/ 1.8v it should work right? well i bought http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231122

which is set to 1.8-1.9 so that should work right? im going to go to the store and buy some cheap ddr2 ram to get it to post, then do i still set it to 2v? or what..

Thanks rivel, I'm assuming you mean both the Patriot and the G.Skill will work? This is the stuff I'm looking at getting:
