Gigabyte GA-P35 DS3R is it safe to order?

Have there been any known bugs with this board? Like serious ones as with the 680i when it was released? I just returned a P5N-E and this board seems like a diamond in the rough for me becuase I had a hard time keeping a stable overclock on my board....and for that price (same as a new P5N-E) I really am considering buying one...

I keep hearing of high FSB but are most of these capable of around 500 FSB or are there just lucky people I keep hearing. Normally I would wait to purchase a chipset this new but I want a new board soon and this seems like the option for me...

Would you guys purchase one?

Why this instead of the P5K3?

Because that board is over $110 more and I am 17 with not too much money too my name. I would love to have one becuase I know they perform better than the DS3R but I just don't have that kind of money right now..

I have not looked at the G board--I like the Giga BIOS on my older socket 754 rig--lots of options. I was curious about the choice because if it is will peform as well I would give it a try too.

What exactly makes the P5K3 better (other tan DDR3 memory contol)? I would hink the chipsets are about the same.

Oh no I was looking at the benchmarks wrong. The DS3R gets just as good FPS as the P5K3. The P5K3 seems to get higher scores in benchmarks with memory...but not by much.

EDIT: yes I hear good things about Gigabyte BIOS. I really want to pick this board up now hah.
