Well the XT cards get really hot and need alot of power, which might need you to get a new PSU and its also bad for OC'ng, the 2900XT hits 100+ which is really hot. I Would say wait for the 8800GTS to drop in price as they would run DX10 well and don't cost to much.

Huh?

The GTS is 71W, the XT is supposed to be 45W.
