Don't get me wrong the Abit was a great board; easy to overclock. But it topped out far too early and required a lot of doing to get to it's top speed. I pushed my e6300, known to OC almost 100% (It holds the #3 spot on top Intel overclocks), to 2.8 Ghz max. To do this I had to up vcore and northbridge voltages a whole bunch.
Now, with this P35 I'm currently sitting at a cool 3.15 Ghz with absolutely no voltage modifications whatsoever. I change the FSB, and everything works out fine. Now I am finally seeing what this chip can do, and I must say, the P5K-Deluxe was worth every penny, all 23,500 of them
I had no idea I was a record holder when I clocked my E6300 to 3.2 at stock volts
Glad you like it...but I think you might need to go higher to keep your spot--as many of us now are P35 and the Clocking is easy...
But I think the overall benchmark performance on the Aw9D-Max might be better...
