XFX...Where is MY CARD?

So I sent my 7800GT off for RMA on May 30th. By June 4th they sent me an email saying they had receive it, tested it, and deemed it faulty and deserving a replacement card... So I'm PUMPED to say the least since I've been without a computer for over a month now. So every day since I got back from vacation on the 9th, I've been speaking with them about it on their Support System and they keep saying it should be going out soon.

What the hell though, I spent over $300 on that card when I bought it and even convinced all of my friends to buy XFX when they buy graphics since I've had good luck with them. I even had two friends in the last week but 8800GTX/GTS's from them with reference to me... And now it has been almost 2 weeks since they initiated the "replacement" process and they're still saying "it'll go out soon".

I'm becoming impatient... I know it's an RMA and they are slow and all, but it seems like they are just sitting there twiddling their thumbs while I go without a computer

Ugh... /rant over I suppose.

I hear ya. RMAs take forever...Gigabytes in no hurry with my mobo, so I'm stuck on a crappy computer. :/

How long have they had it for? Probably longer than my 7800.. I'm just pissed that they know it's faulty and in need of replacement and they've done nothing about it for two weeks..

EDIT: @matman, yea I wasn't even sure my card was the one to blame, but I just sent it in because I noticed my OC deteriorating and the temps creeping up and got lucky that it was really the problem... I'm pulling for an 8600GTS in return like firefly got.

That's a ***** about the RMA, I've been lucky with mine in the past (sapphire & asus), longest was a 10 day turnaround

Have you tried actually calling them?

Email support and live tech support on sites is usually people getting paid $5/hour that don't have access to anything and are overall pretty stupid.

I'm sure if you called they could tell you exactly what is happening and when your card was shipped out or if it has even shipped yet.

haven't had to RMA my own cards before, but that's a nasty turn-around considering i've been able to get replacements from BFG and evga within two weeks for occassional bad cards on commission builds.

I haven't called yet, but if it goes on much longer I will be givin somebody there a piece of my mind. And I don't know about the "support people are stupid" thing because I actually initiated the entire process through their online help desk and the guy who chatted with me got me and RMA number and contract rather quickly, it's just been a bunch of numbnuts a-holes ever since that first interaction.

I sent it out about two and a half weeks ago. Give or take a few days. I know for a fact they could've sent it back by now... :/
