It can't be that difficult can it? Is there a barebone kit or something I can buy and just add better parts to it? I'm just really confused about how I can get the best parts/case with 3400$ and not get ripped like I just did. I will get a refund, but I'm not sure what I will do after that.

CHOZART Thank you. Replies like this is what I'm looking for. And perfect setup, I love all the parts. Now my only problem is putting it together. I wish you lived near me to help! Chozart any suggestions on how to build this rig together?

thanks man

It can be difficult but if you run into problems you can always just post a thread on your new favourite website

I would make a list but I have work(I'm in the UK see ) so I will leave it up to the US & CAN Overclockers. (Chozart )

Good Luck with it

The hardware part of building is just like a big Lego Set. Everything only goes in one way, and a lot of the stuff comes with documentation and pictures that show you how to do everything. Worst comes to worst take all your parts to best buy and they'll assemble it for around $160 I believe.

I didn't know how to assemble anything a year or so ago, so I gave it a shot and I learned a lot. (That rhymes, I pwn).
And sure I ran into trouble, but it was easy to overcome it and was a great learning experience.

Chozart, you added the Q6600 to the list, why not add a better processor. Is there really a need for 2 8800gtx, or should I only get 1 vid card and upgrade to a better processor, maybe a core extreme one? What are your suggestions?

Also, the power supply in that list does not say if it supports SLi (might be a noob question) but does it?

thanks

If you don't want SLI, just save the money. You could save some money and get a 22" monitor for like 250$. As far as the CPU, you could overclock it to 2.8-3.2ghz no problem and we could help you with that That PSU should support 8800gtx sli no problem.
